A trade mark technique, developed by Dr. JoAnne Cornwell. prepares hair to lock.  A system of  locking, proven to be gentle, versatile and offers the optimum in styling options. 
A head piece designed, colored cut and styled to your individual taste.
All Lok Kapps(tm) are hand-made by Master Loctician, multi-award winning stylist, Shanti Walker.

Locks with Color  Palm Rolled Petals
Color tints or stains are best for natural hair.  Hennas, fruit,
vegetable and tea stains are a preferance for natural hair and locks. There are some permanant colors, less caustic than others such as NaturtintTM.

Both Mrs. Walker and son Shanti are award winning, natural hair scholars with over forty years of experience.​
Mrs. Walker joined ANHNAH and was at the forefront of gaining legislation that exempts MD from the SBOC.  As a direct result, she developed the much- needed course curriculum in natural hair care for natural stylists, braiders & locticians at P.G.C.C.

July's class was filled to capacity.  Nine phenomenal women.  Sista's determined to 'get it' traveled from near and far for this class session.  Togo, West Africa, Trinidad, Haiti, Houston, TX. and the DMV area.   All, fully represented team spirit and sister hood as we donated hair care services at 'Total Care Services Inc', a facility for challenged adults who reside there.
